The Garden Clubs of Australia Inc. is a not-for-profit umbrella group established to provide encouragement and support for over 750 autonomous garden clubs and societies. These are like minded people who share a passion for gardening across the Nation supported by the motto ‘Friendship through Gardens’.

The Queensland Council of Garden Clubs Inc. was established in April 1967 as an organisation of garden clubs to encourage friendship and co-operation between them. There are now 126 member garden clubs, plant societies and other special interest groups - from Cairns to Tweed Heads.

Friends of Maroochy Regional Bushland Botanic Gardens

The Friends of the Maroochy regional Bushland Botanic Gardens are a group of volunteers who provide a labour of love in maintaining and improving the gardens to be enjoyed by all.

Weeds Australia

Invasive weeds are among the most serious threats to Australia's natural environment and primary production industries. Weeds have major economic, environmental and social impacts in Australia, causing damage to natural landscapes, agricultural lands, waterways and coastal areas.

Hervey Bay Botanic Gardens

The Hervey Bay Botanic Gardens was established in 1974. These beautiful gardens are situated on 6,000 year old foreshore dunes spanning 26 hectares.
Today the gardens boast established plants of the Wide Bay and Great Sandy regions in a mixture of natural bushland, formal gardens, rain forest and wetlands.

Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World

The Maleny Botanic Gardens currently cover eight acres and are always expanding. Situated on one hundred and ten acres, they are surrounded by magnificent rainforest with spectacular views of the Glass House Mountains.

Members range from small Community Gardens in Country Towns to the larger Metropolitan Botanic Gardens

Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha

Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mount Coot-tha are recognised as Queensland's premier subtropical botanic gardens.

Mackay Regional Botanic Gardens

It is home to a vast range of tropical flora from Mackay and the Whitsundays as well as other Australian native and exotic plants which feature in five ‘culturally-themed’ gardens.

The Sub Tropics is home to many significant national parks and state forest areas. It is of paramount importance that sound plant advice is sought before planting adjacent to these sensitive areas. Consideration must be given to appropriate plant choice as birds and other animals can distribute seeds into nearby bushland and rainforest fringes causing destruction of natural habitat

The 150 year old Sale Botanic Gardens sits next to the Lake Guthridge precinct and contains beautiful gardens, grassed areas, paved walking areas, a playground (including flying fox), undercover picnic areas, sculptures, a fauna enclosure, sensory garden, elm forest and the Lakeside Entertainment and Arts Facility

Friends of Noosa

Botanic Garden

The Noosa Botanic Gardens are situated on the shores of Lake Macdonald and are a short drive from the hinterland town of Cooroy. The Gardens comprise eight hectares of native and non-native plant species and are home to an abundance of wildlife.
